Provinsi float for the width of 35.376,50 km2 lay in earth map line: east-west between 105o 45 with 103o 48 longitude east; north south between 3o and 45 with 6o and 45 paralel south. this region is at westside abuts on sunda strait and at eastside with java sea. several islands belongs in area provinsi float, mostly located in gulf floats, among others: island darot, island legundi, bon irigated dry field island, island sebu, island ketagian, island sebesi, island poahawang, island krakatau, island brokens off, and island tabuan. there also cutting island and banana island at that step into regency area floats west.

Nature conditon floats, at westside and south, alongside coast is hilly region as connection from mountain range stripe at sumatra island. at midst is lowland. while to near coast at eastside, alongside java waterfront then to north, be vast waters.
